For Artists, The Intensive

Learn the technique, the science, and the art.

Three days, live models, three certifications, and lifetime mentorship, taught personally by Stevey G: the layering technique he pioneered, the color science the industry trains on, and the eye that makes it art.

Why here

Learn from the source.

Most courses teach a method their instructor was taught. This one is taught by the artist who created it.

The layering technique, his. Modern Color Theory, his. The Apollo and the Reclaim & Restore pigments, his. When a question goes deep, the answer comes from the source. New to the craft? Start with becoming an SMP artist.

The three days

What the intensive covers.

Day one · practice skin

Colour theory and machine control.

Modern Color Theory from its creator, technique theory, and the machine in your hand until the impression is consistent enough to earn skin.

Day two · in studio

Live models: hairline design and placement.

A real head, a hairline designed to a real face, and every impression placed under his eye.

Day three · in studio

Density, scar work, and the business.

The hardest canvases, then what nobody teaches: pricing, positioning and building a practice that lasts.

Day-by-day structure is representative; the current curriculum is confirmed at application.

What you leave with

Three certifications, one network.

Tuition and cohorts

Seats are limited and dated by cohort. Request the current prospectus for tuition, dates, seat count and everything included.

FAQ

Training, your questions.

How much does SMP training cost?

Tuition is confirmed at application, once we know which cohort and city fit you, and financing options are discussed then. Instead of posting a headline figure, we would rather talk about your goals and what the intensive delivers: three certifications, live-model work, and lifetime mentorship from the person who built the tools.

Do I need tattoo or SMP experience first?

No. The intensive is built to take you from fundamentals to placing on live models within the three days. Existing artists refine faster, but prior experience is not required: the method is taught from the ground up.

What will I actually earn as an SMP artist?

Honestly framed: SMP can be a strong income, but the six-figure claims some schools advertise are the exception, not the promise. What the intensive gives you is the craft, the certifications, and the mentorship to build a real practice: the earnings follow the work you put in.

What certification do I graduate with?

Three: SMP Fundamentals, Machine Expertise, and Advanced Color Theory for SMP, the last taught by the artist who created the framework the industry trains on.

Miami or New York, which cohort?

Both cities run the same intensive with the same instructor. Choose by travel and dates; the application covers current cohort availability in each.

What is in the starter kit?

Graduates leave equipped to begin, with a kit built around trusted brands including Darklab, Perma Blend, Folicule and Vertix, plus Microbeau machine discounts.
